The other initiatives of Parijñān Foundation include the Kanakāñjali Scholarship Scheme, offering Rs. 2 lakhs annually to students for postgraduate studies abroad, and the Katre Medical Relief Fund for providing medical aid.

KANAKĀÑJALI SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME

Parijñān Foundation launched the Kanakāñjali Scholarship Scheme on the auspicious occasion of the Kanakāñjali Utsava’ held in Mumbaī in November 2014 to commemorate the 50 th Janmadivasa of His Holiness Shrīmat Sadyojāt Shaṅkarāshram Swāmījī. The Kanakāñjali Scholarship is awarded to students who wish to undertake post-graduate studies in foreign institutions and universities. It is an annual grant of Rs. 2 lakhs per student. From 2018 to 2024, Rs. 77 lakhs have been disbursed in scholarships to 40 students.

KATRE MEDICAL RELIEF FUND

The Katre Medical Relief Fund was instituted by Parijñān Foundation in November 2010 with initial corpus donations from Shrī Ravi Katre and from the estate of Late Shrī Dayānand Katre with the objective of providing medical relief to needy persons. The disbursable amount for granting aid to deserving applicants is financed from the interest earned on the invested corpus. As of 2024, 104 persons have been granted medical aid from the Katre Medical Relief Fund with total disbursements amounting to approximately 85 lakhs.
