PARIJNAN FOUNDATION® was established in 2009 under the compassionate and vigilant Guidance of the 11th Mathadhipati of Shri Chitrapur Math – His Holiness Shrimat Sadyojat Shankarashram Swamiji, as a tribute to the extraordinary vision of His Guru – His Holiness Shrimat Parijnanashram Swamiji III who was the 10th Spiritual Head of Shri Chitrapur Math.

OUR INSPIRATION

His Holiness Shrimat Parijnanashram Swamiji III – a beacon of compassion, wisdom, and tireless dedication to welfare causes – left an indelible mark on the hearts and lives of many. Ascending to the revered position of the 10th Mathadhipati of Shri Chitrapur Math while still in his teenage years, Swamiji immediately embarked on a transformative journey to uplift society and foster holistic development. In addition to guiding the spiritual growth of the community, Swamiji spearheaded several schemes and initiatives to promote community welfare.

One such notable initiative was the Chitrapur Gram Vikas Yojana, aimed at transforming the hamlet around the Math into a self-sufficient township with agricultural, industrial, and commercial development. “Anandashraya” was started by our Guru Swami for the socially and financially destitute senior citizens in the Chitrapur Saraswat community. Guru Swami also established the Shree Trust which today runs a school for the physically and mentally challenged (SPEVC) at Virar, Maharashtra and the Shantisukhada Trust for tribal welfare in Karla, Maharashtra. He also set up a museum which housed precious idols, artefacts, rare manuscripts, and books, oftentimes travelling even on foot, to collect these.

Guru Swami’s legacy transcends boundaries, embodying the timeless values of Compassion, Service, and Selflessness, serving as a permanent testament to the transformative power of love and empathy in building a brighter, more inclusive world for all!
